Rainbow Lanes, founded in the late 1950’s by Paul “Hook” Schnieders has been family owned and operated for the past 50 years. In June of 2008, Hook’s son, Mark Schnieders, the current owner and operator, added a large edition to the bowling alley property and opened Hooks Sports Bar & Grill which is being managed by the next generation of the Hooks’ family, Grandson, Jonathan Schnieders. To honor their Father and Grandfather the name “Hooks Sports Bar” was an easy decision when choosing a name for Central Missouri’s number one spot for sports enthusiasts to gather.
Paul “Hook” Schnieders a great sports enthusiast his entire life, had earned the nickname “Hook” for his notorious curve ball back in the days when he played professional baseball for the Chicago Cubs organization. Whether playing ball or promoting the sport of bowling, Hook and the Schnieders family continue to proudly serve the bowling and sports enthusiasts of Central Missouri.
